Can I register as an individual?
This event designed for teams of 6. If you wish to enter and would be happy to join an incomplete team, please contact Lara El-Eter at email@example.com
What if I have more than six riders?
This event is designed for teams of 6. If you have more than 6 riders you will need to register another team.
Why do I need to pledge to fundraise $1000?
Endure for a Cure is a signature event for Children’s Cancer Institute. All funds raised will directly support our research to save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate the suffering they endure during treatment and beyond. We have ask for all riders to raise $1,000 per rider, and $6,000 per team of 6. You will receive regular email updates which include fundraising tips and ideas, but please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need any help with your fundraising.

Will I receive any other information prior to the event?
All riders will receive a Welcome Pack once registered and a Rider Guide prior to the big day. We will also send you fundraising tips, inspirational stories and event details via email leading up to the event. Where is Sydney Motorsport Park?
Sydney Motorsport Park is located 40km west of Sydney’s CBD on Brabham Drive/ Ferrers Road at Eastern Creek. It is a 45-minute drive from the CBD or airport on average.

What time should I arrive?
Registration will be open from 5:30am with a briefing taking place at 6:35am. The event will start at 7:00am sharp.
Does my entire team need to be on-site before the start of the event?
Preferably yes, although we will understand if individuals are late due to traffic problems.
Is there parking at the event?
Yes, there’s ample parking close to the garages, we will have directional staff showing you were to park. Parking is free.
What should I bring?
Your comfortable cycling clothing, a mechanically safe bike to ride, bike lights, helmet, water, blankets/towels and other cold weather items, money, supplements, sunscreen, cycling spares.
What type of bikes are allowed at the event?
Road bikes, Hybrids and Mountain Bikes are allowed in this event. No Fixed Wheel bikes or Tri Bars allowed in the event.
Can I listen to my MP3 player while riding?
No – the use of MP3 players and mobile phones while riding is strictly prohibited.
Will there be any mechanical support on the day?
This year we have teamed up with Tune Cycles, who will be providing full mechanical support from 6:00 am, please make sure you have your bike checked prior to the ride.
Do we all have to be on the track at one time or is it a relay?
Timing chips will clock how many times each rider crosses the start/finish line, so as many of your team can be on the track at once as you like. The more riders your team can keep out at any one time, the more laps you will clock up.
Will I be insured at the event?
Children's Cancer Institute will not have Personal Accident Insurance cover for riders available for this event. We strongly encourage riders to purchase their own Personal Accident Insurance cover for the day. Riders with existing Personal Accident Insurance cover should check with their insurers that it will cover this event.
Are spectators welcome?
Of course! Bring down as many family and friends as you want to cheer you around the track.
What about tea/coffee/food?
Throughout the day, riders will be provided with food and drink at set times. Any other food and drink must be brought with the individual or bought at the on-site café (6am-5pm).
Can I have a shower after the event?
Yes – there will be access to showers on site and these will be pointed out on the day.
Is there anywhere to stay before/after the event?
Directly opposite the venue is Alpha Hotel Eastern Creek, a 4.5 star hotel featuring 104 rooms.
Can I keep fundraising after the event?
Absolutely! Fundraising will remain open 4 weeks after the event. However, prizes will be awarded on the day to the highest fundraising individuals and teams. To be in it to win it, we recommend raising as much as you can prior to the event day!
