Creating Your Fundraising Page
When you register as a participant of Endure for a Cure, you will have the opportunity to create an online fundraising page. This is one of the simplest and most effective ways to fundraise, so please take the time to set it up.
Corporate team leader:
If you're the person responsible for registering the team and creating the team fundraising page, simply click the 'REGISTER' button on the homepage, then click the 'CREATE TEAM' button. You will then be prompted to complete your personal details as well as choosing a name for your team. In this process you are creating both youR personal fundraising page and your team fundraising page.
Click 'REVIEW AND COMPLETE' to continue to the next step, here you can purchase a team massage therapist and add a donation to get your fundraising started and create your password to login later and proceed to payment and complete registration.
Once your registration is confirmed you have 3 options, you can share your page to Facebook, view your dashboard and invite team members.
Corporate team members:
If you're are joining a team, simply click the 'REGISTER' button on the homepage, then click the 'JOIN TEAM' button. You will then be prompted to complete your personal details and choose your team from the drop-down list. If your team name doesn’t appear in the drop-down list you will need to get your Team Leader to register and pay for the team before you can complete your registration.
Click 'REVIEW AND COMPLETE' to continue to the next step, here you can get your fundraising started by making a donation to yourself and complete registration.
Once your registration is confirmed you have 2 options, you can share your page to Facebook and view your dashboard.
The teacher organizing your school team will be able to supply you with a link to register and join the team. With that link you can register yourself for the event, join your school team, and create a fundraising page so you can begin raising money to help cure cancer!
To access your fundraising page, click the ‘RIDER LOGIN’ button at the top of the menu bar and enter your email and password you created. Once logged in, go to 'ACCOUNT' to access your fundraising page.
Your online fundraising page works best when you customise it:
- Upload a profile photo and personalise your message, tell us why you are riding in Endure for a Cure.
- Make the first donation. Set an example right from the start by making the first donation your page, people are more likely to donate if they can see that others have already done so.
- Share your fundraising page link using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Start a blog and regularly update all sponsors on your training and fundraising efforts
Frequently Asked Questions
Help! I Can’t Find the Email
Make sure you look in your spam, junk or 'clutter' folders.
Check that the email address entered is correct. The team leader can login and go to "My Account" to view the registration information.
If you need to change the email address entered, or you still can't find the email, no worries. Please contact Briony at Children's Cancer Institute for support: email@example.com
Do you need an Authority to Fundraise?
If you want to collect cash or cheque donations from the general public, you may need a fundraising authority. This is a document which verifies that you are collecting on behalf of a genuine charity. If you think you may need a fundraising authority, please contact us for further information.
I Have Cash or Cheque Donations
Cash or cheque donations should be managed using the Donation Tally Sheet. Please download the PDF and follow the instructions on the document.
Once the funds have been banked and you have returned the donation tally sheet we will update your fundraising page with the offline donations.
