Creating Your Fundraising Page
When you register as a participant of Endure for a Cure, you will have the opportunity to create an online fundraising page. This is one of the simplest and most effective ways to fundraise, so please take the time to set it up.
Corporate team leader:
If you're the person responsible for registering the team and creating the team fundraising page, then simply follow the steps after you've completed the payment (or requested an invoice). You will create your personal page first, and then the team page after that. After the team page is created, the other registrants will receive emails instructing them to finalize their registration and join your fundraising team.
If you filled your own email address in for all registrants, once you have confirmed who the other 5 registrants are, you will need to forward their unique registration confirmation emails to them and they will be able to complete their registration and join your fundraising team.
Please note that each "Final step to complete your registration" email has a unique link. So each registrant will need to be forwarded their unique email.
Corporate team members:
If your team leader has entered your email address when registering, you will receive 2 emails when your team leader registers you.
If not, they will have to forward you the email with your unique registration link, titled "Final step to complete your registration for Endure for a Cure!"
Click the link in the "Final step to complete your registration" email to complete a form to finalize your registration. Once you complete the form, you will be able to continue to create a fundraising page.
If you've completed the form, but couldn't create your fundraising page straight away, don't worry. You should have another email, "Your fundraising team for Endure for a Cure" with a link to create your page and join the team.
The teacher organizing your school team will be able to supply you with a link to register and set up your own fundraising page. Just follow all the steps through until the end.
To access your fundraising page, click the ‘Login’ button at the top of the menu bar and enter your email and password you created. Once logged in, go to 'My Account' to access your fundraising page.
Your online fundraising page works best when you customise it:
- Upload a profile photo and personalise your message, tell us why you are riding in Endure for a Cure.
- Make the first donation. Set an example right from the start by making the first donation your page, people are more likely to donate if they can see that others have already done so.
- Share your fundraising page link using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Start a blog and regularly update all sponsors on your training and fundraising efforts
