My nephew's six-year-old daughter, Amity, died of a brain tumour (DIPG) last year. I'm now riding with him in this year's Endure for a Cure – a 12-hour Cycle Challenge in support of Children’s Cancer Institute.
The Institute is at the forefront of global efforts to eradicate tumours like DIPG. I am proud to ride in support of these efforts.
Amity was a beautiful and engaging little girl. The entire family cannot believe she was taken away from us at such an early age.
We are determined that this and other childhood cancers should be eradicated. To this end, we want to make sure that the researchers have adequate funding to undertake their work.
Please make a donation to support the work of the Children's Cancer Institute, and to support me on this big ride.
